Our Plain-Language, Customer-First Refund Policy

Frankly, we want your money. We don’t want you to cancel, but you’re the customer and that puts you in the driver’s seat.

You can cancel for:

Well, pretty much any reason. We will issue a full refund provided that we receive notice of your cancellation at least ten (10) full days prior to course start. 

If you have to cancel after the minimum 10 days’ notice we will, at your discretion, either refund 50% of the course cost or apply your course fee to the next available BetterComs course of your choice. 

We can cancel for:

Not Enough Students

Student participation is a big part of our learning design. If we don’t have the required minimum number of registered students seven (7) days prior to the scheduled course start, we’ll still try to make it work, but may, at our discretion, cancel the course and refund your full cost.

Facilitator Emergency

We’re a small shop and life happens to us, too. If we cancel a course, it’s because something big and beyond our control has happened for one of our people. We hope that doesn’t happen, but if it does, we’ll refund your money, give you first crack at future seats in the course and ask for your understanding. Just know that the last thing we want to do is cancel.

Technical Issues

We all rely on technology. If things go wrong on our end and we can’t deliver the course for technical reasons, everyone gets their money back. We will reschedule after the issue is resolved and give you first option on rebooking.

All refunds will be issued via the original method of payment within:

  • 30 days of confirmation of cancellation, when requested by the customer.
  • 30 days of notification of cancellation, when initiated by BetterComs.
